Vocational Degree in Instrumentation, Measurement and Quality Control

Vocational Degree Apprentice Training Centre (CFA Sup) + Department of Science and Technology

This vocational degree takes place over one year of lectures during which it is necessary to obtain 60 credits (ECTS). It is aimed at students who wish to broaden their skills and knowledge for a job search in the activity sectors related to measurement or process engineering, with:

  1. Common applied lessons: the basic principles of metrology, the use of standards and quality control, process engineering (metallurgical, food and energy production), the operating principles of instruments for measuring physical-chemical parameters (elementary analysis by spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, X-ray fluorescence), industrial safety, business management and team management.
  2. Fundamental lessons concerning: the structure of matter, structural metallurgy mineral resources or even basic reminders concerning electromagnetic radiation.
